Taco Night with Colleagues
Another gathering with ex-PP peeps from Bevilles... And this time, EVERYONE was present, and we managed to book ourselves a table at the forever-crowded-on-Fridays-because-of-HAPPY-HOURS TACO BILL on COLLINS STREET! The Taco Bill on Russell Street which we always go to does not offer Happy Hours nor Mexican sombreros, so much less fun than the Collins Street one. No wonder the Collins St one is always crowded.
Sarah booked a table for us at 7pm, but because it was so crowded, they have to push our booking back to 7.30pm. So we waited outside the restaurant and had a mini catch-up with each other. Kirsten was late though, so she met us after we were seated inside. Sarah has came down from Queensland for work-related purposes for a week. Michelle has just started her week in school (the Aussie kids start school this week!) as a new teacher! Kirsten is currently jobless, but is undergoing training to drive big trucks, which she will be doing in Perth soon (I don't know why, but she has decided to do that). As for Kam, she works Thursdays at Bevilles and weekends at Vintage Cellars. Great to know everyone is doing well!
The highlight of any gatherings for a Mexican meal will be the MARGHERITAS. Tonight, each of us had 1 big fish bowl of margheritas. And each of us received a sombrero. Kirsten and Kam were kinda tipsy afterwards. The rest of us were OK. Had so much fun and we talked so much yelling at each other because it was so noisy inside.
Didn't look good in any photo especially my big ass one... It's the angle that the shot was taken, and I chose the wrong pose with it. :(
