Backstabbed
I do not hate anyone, but can you actually 'dislike' someone 'with a passion'? Where is the fine line to define between the two??
Regarding this 2 faced joker that I have mentioned in a post in October last year, I have just heard from another colleague of mine something that made me feel right about ignoring her by treating her all invisible in the office ever since I have left the purchasing assistant role. Something that I could have been so right down pissed to actually go argue with her if it has been found out 4 months ago.
My colleague Brooke is close to me, but she doesn't want to tell me this directly, afraid it will make me feel bad. But she told Maria, who told me that day when we were chatting...
Fair enough, I have made a fair amount of mistakes when I was a purchasing assistant. Who doesn't? Especially in this role where there are so many complications and so many things to deal with... Even this 2 faced joker makes mistakes! However, of all the mistakes picked up by our internal auditors, she blamed ALL the mistakes on ME. Literally meaning, I HAVE MADE ALL THE MISTAKES, NOT HER!
However, Brooke, who is our internal auditor, found out that half of these mistakes were NOT even my fault! She traced back and found out that they were made by this 2 faced joker! But when these mistakes were being pointed out to her, she simply put all the blame on me. I was shocked to actually receive this bit of information. In other words, I was 'framed' somehow, and has hence received a lousy reputation as a purchasing assistant. I probably wasn't as horrible in that role as I've thought I was...
It's all over now, therefore there is no point brooding over it. Ever since I have left that role, I have never once talked to her, neither did I greet her once when we walked past each other. I don't do that to people, even if I do not like the person. But for this joker, I really have had enough of her. And these were before I even know she 'framed' me. At first I've thought, maybe I can point my fingers at her by telling the CEO about this, but what's the point of it? Honestly, this 2 faced joker has been with this company for God-knows-how-long... 1) Who would the CEO choose to believe? Even if she believed me, what can she do? Sack her? She hasn't stole or commit dishonest acts, enough to be sacked. And everyone has made equal amount of mistakes, and they are not grave ones. 2) This 2 faced joker is probably not letting her job go since she doesn't even have other areas of experience, nor have a high level of education. Plus, it's not as if she's really young either...
Apparently many people in the office did not like her either. Everyone thought she is fake, insincere and pretty nasty too. On top of that, she is someone who cannot even dress up appropriately, and always wearing cuts so low that her (possibly) G-cup breasts are popping out. Very disdainful + distasteful! I was extremely unhappy to work with her, and taking her fake sugary ways towards you by breathing out "It's OK, sweetheart!" with her cigarette-stained breath. I am glad I am now in another department where I don't have to face her at all!
I was told that I can decide on my own day to quit my job permanently. My manager wants me to work, even if it's just 2 days now (since it's non-peak) as a casual, but she knows I have resigned and is just staying on for extra cash. I'll probably leave for good before my big trip...
