See you in Korea!
One of my fellow colleague/friend from Sozai, Subong, has left the restaurant because his girlfriend Midori has got a job in Korea and he will be moving back with her. Honestly, I think I've already had enough of these 'people come, people go' concept. Too many people whom I've worked with, and/or close with have left for a better place... I am still spinning on the same area of the same place... No improvements at all...
I had to work in the morning, and some of them need to work at night. Therefore we met for lunch at Sawasdee in Chinatown. The food there is not very authentic Thai though. We've asked for extra spicy food but it turned out not half spicy at all! Even Ryo and Midori, both Japanese, who can't take that spicy, finds the food more sweet than spicy. The taste is only average.
It was lunch hour so we were kind of the only customers there - and really noisy ones too! There were 9 of us (Benise, Cissy, Ryo, Subong, Midori, Fang, Jassie, Jassie's friend and me), and we were all noisy - me the loudest (as always). After lunch, Jassie and Fang left to get ready for night shift as they have left their uniforms back home and need to get back. The rest of us proceeded to San Churro, where Midori works her night shift. She treated us to yummy drinks. I had the cookies cha-cha and that was really sweet and sinful, but really delightful. Chit-chatted until 4+pm and we got to part because poor Benise and Cissy needs to work at night. I was fortunate to get the night off but I was really tired so I opted to go back home to rest.

But it was fun.... I will see Subong in Korea, if he gets back in time (which he is 97% sure he will). He can be my tour guide! At least, in terms of directions and being Korean means he can converse in Korean! Saves my misery because right now I think my Korean has become quite rusty as classes haven't start yet... :( I can't wait! It's gonna be good!!
News: I have extended my stay (with NO additional costs) in Singapore for another 2 days! That means I have 6 FULL days in SG now... I will arrive 9 April night time, and depart 16 April night time. Meanwhile, 28 more days to my travels! I hope time goes by quicker!
