SINGAPURA~~~

YES!! After 2.5 years, I am finally back in my beloved hometown - SINGAPORE~~ No words can describe how I missed home! Singapore has indeed changed so much~ Through the familiarities, there are things that seem foreign to me during this long period of absence. It was fun exploring, and embracing the emotions I felt returning home.

However, there are things that I did not get used to for a while:

1. Automated flush in public toilets
- since when does Australia have them??

2. Wrestling in and out of MRTs
- I cannot stand Singaporeans who simply force their way into the MRT the second the doors open. C'mon, there are people who wants to alight!

3. The weather
- I don't like the heat, but I am still OK with it. But the humidity here is too overbearing! I don't think I've sweated so much for a long time! I cannot imagine how I managed to do P.E when I was in school in this heat... I must have been too adapted to Australia's climate!

4. Singapore's tiny coins
- Singapore's 20cents looks like Australia's 10cents. Singapore's 50cents looks like Australia's 20cents. There are no $2 coins in Singapore, yet I kept digging for $2 coins when I buy things here... :s

5. Ez link
- I keep forgetting to scan the card before I alight the bus!

6. Vibrance
- Shops are STILL open at 9pm! Restaurants are STILL open at midnight! Everywhere is so lively!! Everywhere is well-lit!! Why isn't Australia like this?!

Meantime, during my really short stay, I am going to fully make use of my time and explore this interesting and vibrant city, spend time with family, and catch up with as many friends as I can~

It would be depressing to return to Melbourne again.....
