Hilarious Blades of Glory

Tuesday night - as usual, MOVIE NIGHT. But this week it's not just me and Edwin... there's also Grace and Yoke Huey joining us. Initially, we planned to watch "Transformers"... however, we did not get tickets early, so all the seats for 8.45pm and 9.20pm sessions were fully sold out. In the end, we watched "Blades of Glory", by Will Ferrell and Jon Heder. This movie was highly recommended by Lilian, Andrew and Adrian, who claimed that they laughed non-stop throughout the entire movie. Indeed, the movie was HILARIOUS! Can be quite lame, but it's highly entertaining and really really funny...

This movie is about 2 gold medal champion skaters, both singles male inline skaters, who were disqualified from the competitions because of their rowdy behaviour towards each other (they were enemies, so-called). 3.5 years later, each of them realised that they can still be in the ice-skating competition by re-entering in pairs. Their coach recommended that the two of them be a pair. Though it's 'weird' cuz it's 2 guys instead... Their training process, and the process of befriending each other were hilarious~ Also, they need to tackle this rival pair of champion skaters who are set to ruin their success.

If you need a good laugh, go for the movie~ It's really really funny~

And recently, I'm hooked to Goong S, which is the second series following the successful "Goong". Goong S is acted by Se7en, Heo Yi Jae, Kang Doo, Park Shin Hye and Myung Se Bin. Not bad... not as good as the original "Goong" but it's still OK... The main casts are all different too.... Se7en did a good job on his debut in acting...

Another K-drama that I've already completed will be "Witch Yoo Hee" (마녀유희), which is a pretty good drama too... about this CEO of a marketing company Ma Yoo Hee (Han Ga In), who is stern, ruthless, cold, no nonsense, wears only black, and finds no luck in love... she found a new housekeeper and aspiring French chef Chae Moo Ryong (Jae Hee) and besides cleaning the house and cooking, he also taught Yoo Hee how to dress up, attract guys, and tactics + techniques to make guys fall in love with her. Little did they know that they will end up falling in love with each other..... Other casts in this drama includes Kim Jung Hoon, Dennis Oh and Jeon Hye Bin.

***************************************

This week... lesser work load... I get Wednesday and Thursday full days off... And my only full day is on Friday... Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun... all half days... The reason for this is not because I requested for lesser work... Everyone gets 2 days off, and a few half days, because many people are back to work, so everyone will need to get a fair share of hours of work. Although I'm grumbling cuz I am earning lesser money, but I am happy to get a little break from work... Getting really tired, and my eye bags are not getting any better. My holidays are not that interesting afterall... Even though I'm not at home 99% of the time, but my life isn't that happening either...

Things are 'seemingly' getting 'better'... I dunno if it really is. I guess only a couple of people will know about the SMS thing between me and the girl, and I don't really want to recite the whole thing here.... To cut a long story short, the girl told me that he cares alot about me, and all his conversation with her are about me, and she even advised me that if there is anything 'special' going on between us in future, don't let her be in the way. I've now come to terms to take it that, OK.. he really cares, just that he never shows it openly towards me. But I can be sure that nothing 'special' will possibly happen between the 2 of us... at least not for the moment. Guiltily, I will treat him as if he's my bf sometimes. Unconsciously when I go out with him, I'll hook his arm wherever I go and he just let it be. It has become such a habit. That day, he even held my hand when we crossed the road, and he just put my hand on his arm so that I can hold onto him -- when I had no intentions to do so at that moment. It was sweet.... but sweet moments never last. I know I shan't be expecting too much from this relationship, so I shall be happy with the 'care' he gives me, and tell myself "Hey, I'm actually already lucky enough".

As long as some warmth eludes from him every now and then, I shall not ask for more.
