Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
There will be no Korean classes for 2 weeks because Hye-Ri is touring Germany and France (for some personal reasons) therefore I have time to myself (and next week too!). Today, Yongshan, Suya and I caught "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince", whose first screening was yesterday here in Melbourne.
Honestly the movie wasn't too bad, but there are just too many question marks still hovering over our heads after that. The ending was a suspense which I dislike. You feel less magical here too, unlike the first few Harry Potter movies. Perhaps I should start reading all the books so that I can understand the plot a little bit better.
Sad thing is, we lost Dumbledore this time.... (Big spoiler....)
I really like Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley. His role in Harry Potter has gotten more and more hilarious, and I like his goofiness. However, in my opinion, Dan Radcliffe has lost his appeal, though he's the main character. I like his cute, younger self. Emma Watson cannot be more gorgeous!
So much more exciting movies coming soon, such as Astro Boy and Where the Wild Things Are (I really have to watch this!).... Can't wait!
Hope to catch Ice Age 3 next!
Anyway, I really want to thank Paige for copying an entire 4GB of songs for me. It was great to find someone with similar music tastes as me - rock/alternative. OMG, she has gotten me Radiohead, Nine-Inch Nails, Rage Against the Machine, and many other bands whose name I am unsure of. Paige is a music journalist who writes freelance for bands on the net, and she often goes to gigs and receive free demos from the bands she has interviewed. I WOULD KILL TO GET HER JOB!!! Now, she's working at my company, part-time, as a silver picker (a job I was previously doing). And guess what, she is of Singaporean background too, even though she moved here when she was little and has become very Australian with a very good command in English. Either way, it is great that finally I can get myself some quality music :)
