Being too daring

I've just given the manager at the restaurant a piece of my mind, and now, I am not regretting that I've done it, but I regret having even spent time on it, cuz what good will I be getting? It's not as if he will appreciate or understand what I am getting at. On the contrary, who knows he might detest me for it? He made his point simple and clear, and he is not wrong either. However, I told him about his attitude, and not giving people respect from the way he speaks. Granted, I do understand his plight trying to make sure everyone did the right thing and learn, and the effort he has put in. However, he HAS instigated fear more than respect from his staff. His attitude IS a problem that he probably doesn't understand what's wrong with it.

Now, he probably thinks I am someone too pampered to take tough times and hardship, because it seems that my 'piece of mind' has something to do with his constant nagging and instituting high pressure on me. After tonight, he might have given up hope on me.

Honestly, when he said he wanted to speak to me after work, I should have just let him talk and kept quiet. It will definitely cut the conversation short, and I can go home earlier. It's not as if I'm getting paid for the time he spent talking to me, neither will I receive a trophy for anything. How silly of me!

Anyway I took tomorrow night off. I can't take it anymore. I find that my performance slipped because I didn't have enough rest. And I know 'being tired' is not an excuse when you cannot perform. So I rather discard that $50+ of work and get some time for myself.

Bleah... sometimes I am too honest with people. I need to learn how to control myself.
