First Store Support Shift
Just came here (to the office) 10 minutes late because I've missed the 9.08am train, thinking that it's OK because the next train would be at 9.28am, and I'll still be on time. However, when I reached the station and looked at the timetable, to my horror, the next train will be at 9.46am, and there will be NO WAY I will be able to reach on time! Apparently there are only two trains within the hour between 9-11am on Sundays. How frustrating!!!
Therefore, I walked another 5 minutes down to Brighton Road, and caught a 9.33am city bound tram thinking I will be on time. However, trams are ALWAYS much SLOWER than the trains, stopping every 5 seconds at every stop. In the end, I still reached the office 10 minutes late. No difference if I catch the 9.46am train...
It is after all my first time doing support shift, and therefore my first time handling security doors and backup of our data. The security doors are easy, but the backing up was what I was scratching my head about. I hope I did not do anything wrong and get reprimanded tomorrow.
Honestly, I have no mood to work on a Sunday, therefore I am here on Blogger. We can't access Facebook in the office, unless I access via my iPhone... I do have lots of stock-related work to do, but I cannot access the safes. Therefore I will be starting on SKU-ing soon, hopefully can finish by 5pm. The good part being here on a Sunday though, is that there are no supervisors/managers/bossy people hovering around me and pushing me for datelines. More relaxed. No pressure.
Am on Perfect 10, 98.7FM. Sort of missed this radio station since I listened to them so much when I was still in SG. Anyway, I am the only soul in the office and I can blast my radio. But of course, not really "BLAST" as I have to answer the phones too. So far, only 2 phonecall from a customer whom I cannot assist. I am not in either departments to know enough to help. Too bad. Call back tomorrow.
Wish me lots of fun! *note sacarsm*
