Raining once again...
There isn't anymore tears for me to cry anymore. All dried up. It's so transparent now on where I stand in his heart. I am a nobody. Even my friends confirmed that. Even those friends who do not know my feelings confirmed that. So why am I still holding on?
He can forget he so-called 'promise' for a movie date, and waited for her outside her house and called her out instead. When I knew that, it was as if my heart got ripped out of my body. When I knew that he is always seeing her (cuz my friends have bumped into them several times before), I knew when he told me he's 'got things to do', 'meeting friends' etc, he might be lying. For what reason, I dunno. Perhaps he knew I get sensitive when it comes to him and her. Either way, I can see how he prioritise her. I shouldn't care anyway. I do not have the right to. Today, I was waiting for his call to come... to ask me where I am... to ask me if I wanna go dinner/movie. I was still holding on to that very last thread of hope there. But it snapped. No call for the entire day. I really have nothing to hold on anymore. It's sad that no matter how much I wish and pray, nothing ever seemed to shine or turn my way.
The rain came pelting again. This time my umbrella got a hole. I'll need to get myself a brand new one ASAP.

Meeting Chris for dinner was a much better choice. Thank God he called me out just when I was clinging on to that last snapping strand of hope. Turned out he was a really good company... He doesn't know my problem (or he knew but decided not to voice me out), but indirectly he managed to advise me. But he does know my concern for this 'person', and he knew how close we are.... I felt alot better even though it still hurts badly. But I managed not to cry.
We went to try out the new Korean restaurant By Korea on La Trobe street. The Bibimbap we tried was ok... I prefer Oriental Spoon, or better still, Carnegie's Kimchi Grandma. Then we went to International Cakes on Lonsdale Street. It is a Greek cake and cafe shop, so the cakes were really really sweet. The chocolate mud cake was very rich. The blackforest one was better. Both Chris and I didn't finish our cakes. We talked alot instead.

Brief Updates:
Recently, Chom Chom has some 'special' dishes on the weekends. These two weeks there was kueh chap, white bak kut teh (the one with black-pepper base), sweet and fatty char siew, and even lontong. I was quite 'addicted' to kueh chap, and it was even better for me since we do not have the intestines, and I simply DETEST pig's intestines (or any intestines!)~ There's pig skin, egg and tofu, and of cuz the kueh in the soy sauce base gravy. Yummy~ I miss the ones in Singapore!
My dinner last weekend, together with a small bowl of my fave chicken laksa (with LOTS of sambal!)
Uncle Meng's daughter Hui Ting held a birthday party for her friend at Chom Chom a while ago, and there were balloons... This was one of the balloons I took and designed for the tip box in our restaurant:
'She' is supposed to have cleavage lol.... to 'lure' more tips. Some crooked thoughts I have there. In the end, not alot of people tipped.... hahahaha... probably too ugly to be true~
In the end, someone burst the balloon.... boo-hooo...
Classes couldn't have been more fun with movies! Instead of just going for lectures and sitting through the entire 2 hours trying to concentrate, our Media Ethics class let us watch movies~ Well, of cuz movies related to our unit in one way or another. We watched the documentary "A Fine Line" in Week 2. Then we caught "All the Presidents Men" (by Dustin Hoffman and Robert Redford, dates all the way back in 1976!), talking about the Watergate incident and how the investigative journalists went about to get information. Just today, we caught "Wag the Dog" (also by Dustin Hoffman, and Robert DeNiro and Anne Heche), about a spin-doctor and a Hollywood producer working together to cover up the sex scandal by the US president prior before the big elections. Both were interesting movies, though I enjoyed "Wag the Dog" a little more.... It has more enlightening humour.
