Party Plan Fun

After some persuasion, I managed to get my Friday night off from work and hung out with peeps from my new department at work - Party Plan. After work, we headed off to Richmond, to where Kirsten stays with her bf in a small cozy apartment, and all of us gobbled down 5 bottles of Four Sisters Chardonnay with some chips and dips. Before long, all of us got a little tipsy because it was before dinner that we had those drinks. Everyone chit-chatted, did some 'truth or dare' and spilt wine all over the carpet. We kept pushing back our booking at the restaurant from 6.30pm to 7pm to 8pm to 8.30pm, and eventually made it there quarter to 9pm.

Mexican food wasn't really my taste, but the tangly bit of spice in chicken with rice (AND bananas) tasted quite nice. Tacos and Nachos were OK for me. Maybe because I am getting kind of sick with wines, margheritas and sangrias, I just wanted something really spicy and soupy to get rid of all the alcohol, instead of having something heavy. The Mexican place we went to was called Montezuma's and it's a little off Bridge Road in Richmond. I am more interested in the way the restaurant was decorated than the food.

Fridays have always been the most lethargic day for me despite that the weekends are here. To me, weekends are no different from weekdays other than being able to sleep in a bit more. I have been working so hard now, stress-accumulating and lacking quality sleep, that I tend to feel unwell on Fridays. After a few alcohol I was feeling terribly sleepy! Or maybe I'm just getting too old now for high alcohol tolerance. I realized that I cannot take as much alcohol as I could before. Hmmmmm...

Anyway, I've edited the photos in groups of 4 to save the space on my blog...... Or rather, I am kinda lazy to edit all of it. I am actually awake now at 2.40am in the morning despite all the alcohol still swimming around inside me. However, I've made myself some spicy noodle soup when I got home, and I felt much more awake after that.

FOOD
The first one was garlic prawn nachos or something like that. I like the prawn but not the nachos with it.
I can't remember the second one though...
The rice dish with chicken and bananas was the third. I like the tangly spicy taste, minus the banana
And the last was the jug of strawberry margheritas we ordered. The glasses were lined with sugar. It was great!

39 days to go to go back home!! I've officially announced it on FB so I guess it is not a surprise anymore. I am excited, really. I cannot wait to meet up with my family and all my friends! This includes him, but all my friends have advised me against that idea... What am I supposed to do? Sigh... I guess I got to 'go with the flow'? I probably wouldn't even have time for him, since I've got a lot of things lined up.

Oh well... I guess I should just worry about the miscellaneous stuff later... SLEEP is definitely much more important! AGE is catching up on me, and I need to go to bed now... I hope I don't get that hangover tomorrow! :\
