Fulfilling experience
One of the volunteering work that I was involved in this year was on Tuesday 21 September, where our team of 8 from the office made a trip down to Yarraville where Food Bank is located, to pick and pack food for the needy. Thousands of donors from all over Victoria donated food items to Foodbank where they are then repackaged to be sent out to different parts of Victoria where there are people in need, and to end hunger. Felt really satisfied after the volunteer work because no matter what we did, how small our contributions may be, it will still ultimately benefit the people who needs our help and care. Hopefully more of these opportunities will come up for us to participate!
We were wondering at the beginning when we had our induction, why they need to take our photo. No explanation was given. But today, we received this in our emails, so now we know why! Unfortunately the cert came in PDF format, and although I managed to convert it into JPEG, it isn't very clear.
