Goodbye to the life of Accounting!
As of today, I'll no longer be a suffering accounting student anymore! Definitely GOOD NEWS~
I can't believe I received the offer letter for doing Masters of Communications and Media studies. I thought I'm not going to receive it since I didn't hear from the uni from the day I submitted my application, resume and the 1000-words statement. I checked my mail everyday, and the first thing I looked for when I returned from Adelaide is for my mail. But none arrived. I was almost giving in to thinking I'll be stuck with accounting forever, when I received an email with my full offer letter just last night.
"Congratulations. I am delighted to offer you admission to Monash University as an international student. You have received a full offer into the MASTERS OF COMMUNICATIONS AND MEDIA STUDIES.

Once again, congratulations on gaining entry to Monash. For further information about your courses and subjects, visit www.monash.edu.au/pubs/handbooks

I was ELATED!!
Today I went over to uni and filled in the acceptance form, asked about my tuition fee transfer, and it's all done. Now awaiting registration day on Thursday.
I'm no longer an accounting student!
And I'm proud and glad to say I'm an ART (or MEDIA) student.
Something I've been longing to do.
Wish me luck!
How am I going to spend the rest of my holidays u may ask... well... I'll be working my butt off. I've been assigned to a 4-5 days of work per week, so I'll be going to city pretty much everyday. I'm not complaining though, cuz I need the cash! Working more hours means more cash! If I work continuously like that for a month, I can cover more than those I've spent in Adelaide. And I'll try to save up as much as possible so that I can plan for my next trip, to somewhere far away! :)

Just finished watching "Heaven's Tree", starring Park Shin Hye and Lee Wan. A very sad drama about a forbidden love between two step-siblings. This is like a half Japanese, half Korean drama, cuz the setting is in Tokyo, and many of the supporting casts are Japanese, and many times it was spoken in Japanese, but it's a Korean production. Not too bad. Ending's really sad. Managed to control my tears this time. =]
