The Support
My Saturday night was so exhausting, but I feel so comforted at the same time. Despite having a 'discouraging' talk with the manager which doesn't make me feel very happy, however, with him by my side, I feel that nothing ever matters anymore.
Little does he know that, with his presence whilst I was working no doubt made me nervous, but then it gave me so much support that carried me on through the entire night. I was afraid of screwing things up and getting reprimanded in front of him, but luckily none of those happened... I realized how much he means to me, and how much support he can give me. It only tells me how much I needed him, and how much I love him.
The only 'customer' who will help me lift my bowls and plates off the tray, and help me stack up the finished ones.
The only 'customer' who will ask me if I want the remaining sushi on his plate cuz I must be hungry running about, but I got to refuse (cuz I'm working).
The only 'customer' who will attempt to give me a massage but I got to refuse (cuz I'm working).
The only 'customer' who will refuse to let me refill their teacups and insisting on doing it himself.
The only 'customer' who will help me take my bag after my shift and walk me to the train station.....
Thank you, Ed... for appearing for dinner at my restaurant and sat through the entire night for me to finish my shift...
And I want to thank his friend too, but then being the same old me, I cannot remember her name. She was really nice and... she has seen me before... from way back in Chom Chom days... but I do not remember her. Is this a disease or what??? People always tell me they've seen me before but I never do remember them! -_-;;
And isn't it amazing? I had a good sleep that night too~
