SOME updates
OK... just some updates for the past 2 days.... I'm still feeling lazy to update anything else.
Sunday 5-Feb
Met up with Joanna only for a short 2 hours plus at Toa Payoh Central. My dear cookie monster is such a workacholic she even has to work on Sundays! Gosh! There's simply no time to spare to go out with anyone, and that day she managed to squeeze in some time to meet up with me for a short snack. Had a good talk (though time is far from sufficient), and ate some fries at Mos Burger. Hadn't been to Toa Payoh Central yet I think... There're so many things to see there! HDB Hub has the Fabrics of the Nation display from SARS last time, and it was really beautiful.

After saying goodbye to Jo, I met up with my parents and went to have buffet at Katong. My dad said he wanted to try out the place since he passed by several times and haven't had a try at it. They have steamboat there, plus buffet, for $21.80 per head. Not bad, but not the best. Not enough variety of cakes! We were bloated after our meal, especially so from the soup! BURP!

Tuesday 7-Feb
Had my haircut, FINALLY. My hair was too long, and the longer it gets, the heavier my head feels too... And I haven't done my hair for a long time - more than a year! Did my treatment, my rebonding, but I didn't dye my hair this time... want to save some money... Sometimes I think neighbourhood hairdressers do a better job than those expensive hair salons. I got mine done at my usual hairdresser, for cheap and fantastic results. Lasts long too. Worth it!
Then met up with Claris (my fellow same-name-different-spelling friend) at Suntec for dinner. Ate at NYDC... Haven't seen Claris for a long time..... ever since 2004 i think... Glad to have met her! After dinner, Syu arrived, and we went for second round of 'dinner' at Delifrance whilst Syu eats her dinner. I felt like a giant when I stand with my two petite friends... I wish I am smaller-boned...

After Delifrance, Claris had to get back, so Syu and I went to Gelare to have waffles with ice-cream (half price Tuesdays!) and sat down to chit-chat...
You should see how Syu savoured the waffles...
And I spat waffles at Syu.... She never cease to make me throw up laughing haha..
So what do you think of my hair now?
Oh.. and may I add the "suicide" pic...
Thanks to my endless phototaking and hindering Syu from attacking on those delicious waffles, she decides to commit suicide - with her fork.
Anyways, since no one's hurt, I'll like to say: I'm glad I've met up with Syu and Claris... before I leave for OZ and not coming back for a long time.... And god knows how long that will be.
My new hairstyle felt weird somehow... It just doesn't feel natural... But my head feels so much lighter than before! And I can put down my hair without feeling so hot.... Before I cut my hair, I've been tying my hair up everytime I go out, because the heat in Singapore is unbearable, and my hair irritates me. And my hair was so frizzy and dry too. Glad to have my haircut man!
