Let's sing a song...

This song, no matter when and where I listen to it, tears would well up in my eyes and if I do a lousy job controlling them from gushing out, I would be crying. I can totally relate to the lyrics. It probably depends on how the individual would interpret the meaning behind this, but to me, the song tells about one who has always put in the effort into something - can be anything, which most likely in this context, love - but always lose out to someone else who comes in later, or whom does not put in as much effort as you. But you tell yourself, I must not give up. I must wait quietly for the chance to happen again. I must not lose hope. Just like grapes will ripen, when it does, it can be fermented into wine. Even if the results are not 'fruitful', you can still get drunk with the wine. I probably do not explain it very well, but for people who can understand Cantonese, or even if not, if you can read the Chinese characters, you'd probably feel what I mean. And perhaps deeper too!

I do not usually listen much to C-pop and/or Canto-pop, though occasionally I discover a good song or two which have meaningful lyrics, good melody, and fantastic execution by the singer. Eason Chan is probably one of my favorite C-pop and Canto-pop singer, especially having watched him live, his talent is undeniable.

K-pop I do listen to quite often, though not enough like some of my die-hard ardent K-pop fans friends. I've always liked female duo DAVICHI because they have some good numbers and a pair of really good voice. This one is live - one of my favorites. 사랑사랑아

The tempo for this song is actually quite fast, and the beat sounded kind of cheery. However, this song actually pleads for someone not not leave. It is kind of ironic in the sense that you may be listening to this song bobbing your head up and down to the beat, yet when you listen closely to the lyrics, your heart feels heavy.

This song is from their latest mini album "Love Delight". Only 6 tracks on there, but all of them are nice!
